As part of the ENSURE-6G project (www.ensure-6g.eu), I had the pleasure of spending one month at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), Sri Lanka, strengthening our international research collaboration in next-generation secure and trustworthy 6G systems.
The visit focused on intensive technical exchange and joint research discussions around:
• Secure and resilient 6G architectures
• AI-driven cybersecurity mechanisms
• Trust frameworks for future communication networks
• Opportunities for joint publications and future proposals

This secondment was not just a series of meetings — it was a month of close collaboration, daily research interaction, and meaningful knowledge exchange between European and Sri Lankan researchers. Such global engagement is essential to building secure, human-centric, and resilient digital infrastructures for the 6G era.

I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Charithri Yapa and Dr. Uditha Wijewardhana for their warm hospitality and for hosting me at University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Their support and collaboration were instrumental in making this visit productive and impactful.
