ENSURE-6G Showcases Secure and Trustworthy 6G Innovation at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026

Málaga, Spain | 2–5 June 2026

The ENSURE-6G project is proud to participate in the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026, one of Europe’s premier events for telecommunications research and innovation, taking place in Málaga, Spain. The event brings together leading researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, technology providers, and innovators from around the world to discuss the future of connectivity and the evolution towards 6G networks.

As next-generation communication systems become increasingly intelligent, distributed, and interconnected, security and privacy are emerging as fundamental requirements rather than optional features. ENSURE-6G addresses these challenges by developing innovative approaches to ensure that future 6G networks are secure, resilient, trustworthy, and privacy-preserving by design.

Throughout the event, visitors can meet the ENSURE-6G team at Booths 96–97, where project partners are presenting the latest research outcomes, demonstrations, and collaborative initiatives developed within the consortium.

Advancing Security and Trust in Future 6G Networks

ENSURE-6G is a Horizon Europe-funded project focused on strengthening the security foundations of future communication infrastructures. The project brings together academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners from Europe and beyond to address emerging threats and challenges associated with 6G technologies.

Key research areas within ENSURE-6G include:

  • AI-Native Security for Future Networks – Developing intelligent security mechanisms capable of detecting, responding to, and adapting to evolving cyber threats in real time.
  • Privacy-Preserving 6G Architectures – Designing network solutions that protect user data, support digital sovereignty, and ensure compliance with emerging privacy requirements.
  • Cyber and Physical Threat Resilience – Enhancing the robustness of future communication systems against both cyberattacks and physical disruptions.
  • Secure-by-Design Network Infrastructures – Embedding security principles into the architecture and operation of next-generation networks from the outset.

Collaboration Across Academia and Industry

A distinguishing feature of ENSURE-6G is its strong emphasis on collaboration between academia and industry. Through international secondments, joint research activities, technical workshops, and dissemination initiatives, the project promotes knowledge exchange and accelerates the development of practical solutions for future network security.

The consortium’s multidisciplinary expertise spans wireless communications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, privacy engineering, blockchain technologies, network softwarization, and trust management. This collaborative ecosystem enables ENSURE-6G to address complex security challenges from both theoretical and practical perspectives.

Engaging with the Global 6G Community

Participation in EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 provides an excellent opportunity to engage with stakeholders across the global telecommunications ecosystem. The event serves as a platform for discussing emerging trends, sharing research findings, exploring new collaborations, and contributing to the development of trustworthy 6G technologies.

The ENSURE-6G team welcomes discussions with researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, students, and technology innovators interested in the future of secure and resilient communication networks.

Visitors attending EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 are invited to stop by Booths 96–97 to learn more about the project’s latest achievements, ongoing research activities, and future directions.

Together, we can help shape a secure, resilient, and privacy-preserving future for 6G communications.
