As part of the Horizon Europe ENSURE-6G project funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), Dr. Pasika Ranaweera, Assistant Professor at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, recently initiated a one-month secondment at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), Sri Lanka. This secondment aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between UCD and USJ in advancing the future of secure and sustainable 6G networks.

During his secondment, Dr. Ranaweera will contribute to various academic and professional activities, including:
- Delivering a guest lecture titled ‘Current Advances in 6G’ to final-year undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at USJ.
- Offering special talks on 6G-related technologies to professional communities, including the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Sri Lanka Chapter, IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Sri Lanka Chapter, and the IEEE Blockchain Group Sri Lanka Chapter.
