From Montimage to UCD’s NetLab: designing advanced enablers for security and privacy, and developing security test methodologies for emerging 6G environments.

As part of the ENSURE-6G Staff Exchange Program funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), Dr. Ana Cavalli and E. Montes de Oca, have commenced their secondment at the Network Softwarization and Security Labs (NetsLab) at University College Dublin. This intensifies UCD and Montimage’s research collaboration focused on:
* Designing novel enablers for security and privacy, for advancing the research on secure service enablers and strengthening the methodological foundation for privacy-preserving mechanisms within 6G architectures;
* Developing, evaluating, and validating security test methodologies for emerging 6G environments, with particular focus on ensuring robustness and trustworthiness across distributed network components.
The work will result in the publication of research papers and the improvement of UCD’s and Montimage’s open source security management frameworks and Montimage’s commercial support services.
