An Autumn Visit to UCD: ENSURE-6G Secondment

In Autumn 2025, I carried out a secondment at University College Dublin as part of the ENSURE-6G MSCA Staff Exchange. The main highlight was getting to see Netlab’s state-of-the-art 6G testbed in person, which gave me a much clearer picture of how the consortium’s research themes are being implemented in a working experimental setup, and where my own work on adversarial resilience could connect.

It was also useful to sit down with the PhD students and hear what the lab has been working on. Discussing their current problems, early results, and open questions directly is the kind of exchange that does not happen over video calls, and several of those conversations have already fed into follow-up ideas back in Portsmouth.
My thanks to the UCD team for hosting me, and to ENSURE-6G for making these exchanges possible.
